I've just noticed, that if I prepare a Latte and put it into a travel mug, I get a bunch of foam along the top edge at each level. However, if I put a lid on that mug and drink it, no foam edges form along the way. Hypothesis: Maybe this is due to increased humidity within the top of the mug?
