Found this video [[April 23rd, 2024]]  It's from a cringy tween youtuber but it made me think about buying a cheap mini composition notebook rather than a smaller and much more expensive [[Write In The Rain]] mini notebooks I picked on up in early May and as of [[July 12th, 2024]] I've been carrying it rather than the Write In The Rain mini notebooks and several times I've forgotten it... and missed having it. It's way less stress because it's so cheap; I can put stupid ideas into it and not worry about wasting one of only a dozen pages. I've also noticed that people seem less offended if I take the notebook out to write something down compared to me taking my phone out.
