What if there were an app where you could give it a list of IP addresses and it'd ping all of them. If a ping response came back within the slice it'll make a tone. By default the tone slice is 150ms. If something misses, it'll not play a tone during that time. You'd hear it as a non-consistent tone and you know something has missed. Idea stolen from that german targeting/navigation thing.
