## Belts
- [GrooveLife Belt](https://www.groovelife.com/products/groove-belt-black-black)
- Current EDC belt. It works well for being able to get just the enough tension without getting too tight.
- Pros
- Adjustability of the elastic belt is very fine control of tension
- Magnetic latch works well
- The elastic seems rigid enough that it doesn't warp/bend/curve with a holster
- Cons
- The elastic appears to be loosening over time time
- [KORE Range Belt](https://www.koreessentials.com/products/ranger-green-battle-belt-complete-kit)
- Dual layer belt (loop inner and hook outer layer) means that I can drive to the range with just the loop inner layer and easily toss on the outer belt once I get there
- Pros
- Molle standard like all other range belts
- The ratcheting adjustment is fantastic (you buy the belt 54" long and cut it down to your size)
- Very rigid
- Cons
- (none yet)
## Belt Accessories

- Have these on my range belt, they work fine although I need to make some spacers for the bottom for 10 Rd magazines or compact mags
- [Blackhawk Double Mag Double Stack](https://www.blackhawk.com/holsters/injection-molded-mag-cases/double-mag-case-double-stack/1172.html)

## Holsters
### Using
- [T.REX Arms Sidecar](https://www.trex-arms.com/store/trex-arms-sidecar-holster/?handedness=%22Right%22&threaded=false&belt_width=null&color_ref=1&clip_material=%22Metal%22&hardwared_holster_accessories=%5B%7B%22holster_accessory_variation_ref%22:191,%22color_ref%22:1%7D%5D&non_hardwared_holster_accessories=%5B%5D&holster_availability_ref=289)
- A _very_ well made holster and comfortable for appendix cary. Purchased with the additional magazine wing
- Pros
- Clips are very adjustable
- Great retention adjustment
- Smooth entry and exit
- Sweat guard height
- Cons
- Bulky and heavy
- [T.REX Arms Ironside Hybrid](https://www.trex-arms.com/store/t-rex-ironside-hybrid-holster/?handedness=%22Right%22&threaded=false&belt_width=null&color_ref=1&clip_material=null&hardwared_holster_accessories=%5B%7B%22holster_accessory_variation_ref%22:54,%22color_ref%22:1%7D%5D&non_hardwared_holster_accessories=%5B%5D&holster_availability_ref=2692)
- Technically this is an OWB compatible holster (they come with the belt loops) mounted to a felt-ish backer which itself has clips. This is a nice little kit which gives you two holsters for the price of 1.5. I ran this on my belt for classes before I bought The Rig.
- Pros
- As an OWB holster it's very good
- As an IWB holster at 3 o'clock it's even better. The felt level acts as a good sweat guard and spacer
- Good retention adjustment
- Cons
- Fiddly to switch between the two modes so you won't be doing it at the range
- Takes a little bit of getting used and medium bulky
- [Guerilla-Tactical The Rig](https://guerrilla-tactical.com/product/the-rig-outside-the-waistband/)
- Mounted on my battle belt I'm using this to test safariland and ride hight before getting a holster with a higher level of retention
- Pros
- Good kydex build
- Good retention adjustment
- Drilled for Safariland QBS
- Cons
- Technically fine for now but I want a holster with some retention
- [DeSantis Slim Tuk](https://www.desantisholster.com/pegasus-kydex/slim-tuk/)
- Pros
- Very lightweight, coupled with the G43x it's a very light package
- Cons
- No claw which necessitates having to carry deeper, which means it's hard to get a good grip from the holster
- No sweatguard so carrying without an undershirt leaves some bruising
- I'm going to swap this out for a Guerilla-Tactical Low Pro
### Tried
- [Blackpoint IWB Holster](https://www.sigsauer.com/p365-xmacro-iwb-blackpoint-tactical-holster.html)
- Pros
- The claw helped keep the grip module closer to my body
- The clips were at a good location so that I was able to get a good firing grip from within the holster
- The clips are on an arm which allows for tucking a shirt in between your pants and the gun
- Good retention adjustment
- Cons
- Non-light bearing and they have limited selection for light configuration
- Too deep for appendix carry
- I switched off of it because I started carrying with the TLR7Sub
