## Veep
Our rewatch of [[Veep (TV Show)]] continued.
## [[Risky Business (Podcast)]]
Risky Business now has a video version of their podcast. The episode [762 -- Brazil nukes, etc](https://youtu.be/u-Q9TzKPwqI) was an interesting watch, not sure I'm sold on the format though. Not that it's bad, I've just been listening to audio only for 640+ episodes so it's hard to reconcile.
## The Hunt For Red October
Reading this and testing the [[Reference Note]] 3x5 card format.
Finished the book and watched the movie. It was decent although was rather far off the plot of the book. It was a good compression down but it lost a lot of the mystery or suspense.
## Apple Ads
During a discussion about [[Spot Emergency Communicator]]/ELBs I brought up that the [[iPhone 14]] added the ability to do SOS via satellite. This put me down another Apple ad rabbit hole. It turns out having lots of cash on hand means you can make cool ads.

## Miscellaneous YouTube
- [A video about assembling/reviewing a keyboard which has way too high of production value](https://youtu.be/Wqfg9czg8RY)
- [A video building a battery bank from discarded vapes](https://youtu.be/ehp23hrrEHY). This person was going around picking up "single use" "600 puff" and "3500" puff vapes that people had just thrown on the ground. They shouldn't be in the landfill either with their rechargeable batteries.

## The Tim Traveler
We rediscovered [The Tim Traveler](https://www.youtube.com/@TheTimTraveller) channel on YouTube and were watching some of his content.
## Uri Tuchman
I found [Uri Tuchman and his home shop](https://www.youtube.com/@urituchmanpigeon) YouTube channel, he has some pretty interesting builds that demonstrate a strong grasp of thinking in design without complex tooling.
## Animated [[Media/Podcasts/Knowledge Fight/Knowledge Fight|Knowledge Fight]]
There's someone on YouTube animating Knowledge Fight clips, they're pretty interesting.

## Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont Spelling Bee
We found an interesting New Zealand panel/game show around a spelling bee with entertaining contestants/comedians. [A mega cut of all season 1](https://youtu.be/oTfgKchtQz8)
## [[The Pen Addict (Podcast)]]
Testing the pen addict as an alternative sleeping time podcast to [[Stuff You Should Know (Podcast)]]
## [[Taskmaster (TV Show)]] Series 18
Taskmaster is being released on YouTube again and it’s looking like an OK series so far.
## [[Cyberpunk 2077]]
I’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the last couple months and it’s a fun game with very deep lore. I picked up the TTRPG [[Cyberpunk RED]] around the time the game was announced/released but I never played it due to time constraints and the amount of bugs in the zeitgeist. It’s a game that excels at atmosphere and design but not much else. The story is good although the main tracks are a bit light. The role playing aspects are pretty standard; do side quests of the “hunt”, “sneak”, “assault”, or “race” types so that your grind skills and equipment, then do main story evens which are sneak/battle, traverse, or escort with a big-bad every once and a while.
