There are a couple good points in there but the premise is built on a supposition that "guest towels" shouldn't exist, you should have a closet of clean towels that you're working through and when someone comes to stay with you they get the same towels you're using. A comment phrased it another way: from time to time, stay in your guest room and get ready in your guest bathroom, then fix what sucks!
